The rationale for this course is for students to understand the purpose, structure, function, and ministries of the Women’s Department and women ministries in COGIC. Students will study how the Women’s Department and women’s ministries have emerged over the decades and why COGIC allows the local church flexibility to shape the women’s department. This course will provide opportunities for women to exercise their spiritual and temporal gift; and it will encourage female students to seek guidance from the Lord how they may build upon COGIC’s rich heritage of commitment to Kingdom work
