The objective for this class is that each candidate will be taught to prepare and deliver a sermon following phases from preparation to presentation that exemplifies clear communication and Christian understanding.
Students will be taught how to make a critical analysis of the text from scripture selection and exegesis; how to survey scripture context and gain a clear understanding of the scripture text for preaching; how to understand the principles and practice of preaching; and how to understand the shape and the styles of sermons.
